(CNN) Technoholic mommy use apple iPad to deliver her baby.
Marcy Woodson, a pregnant woman used her Apple iPad to time her contractions.
"I got the Apple iPad for Mother's Day, which I guess is kind of appropriate that it came in handy when this one was born", says Marcy Woodson
It sure did. Marcy was monitoring her contractions on the iPad. "So this is when I decided to go get my husband was after this 4:59 one."
When the mother to-be realised she'd waited a bit too long, she woke her husband Mike to tell him the baby couldn't wait. "What would be wrong with getting some coffee and going to the Baptist? That's a better idea," he said.
"That's true, I'm not a doctor," Mike said. So, he called the 911 dispatchers to talk him through the delivery of his son who was three weeks too early.
"I definitely feel a really close bond with Graham from being there through the whole process and kind of helping delivering him," said the father.
Just as the six-pound, two-ounce bundle of joy was about to enter the world when there was a welcome knock on the door. "And then I can tell you I was never, never much happier to see anyone other than when the EMSA paramedics came walking through right about the time he was ready to be born. I was very pleased to see them."
After finishing the job Marcy and Mike began, paramedic Mike Goldman said: "He wasn't waiting for anybody."
"This made our day and, in fact, I told the family that it's all downhill from here today. There would be no calls as good as this for the rest of the day," said Mike.
Marcy and Graham were escorted to the hospital as the new mom shared her unique delivery from the handheld device.
"Posting to Facebook from the ambulance, I think that he definitely -- we made use of all the technology, didn't we, bud?"
This ibaby is a already Facebooking. We can't wait for his first tweet.
