According to Meraki, a cloud service provider, Apple’s iPad accounts for an explosive increase in percentage of the browser market. According to their new report, iPad users consumes 400% more Wi-Fi data on a monthly basis than the average iPhone, iPod or Android portable device.

This report prepared by Meraki, took account of data collected from the anonymously surveyed 100,000+ devices accessing public, educational and general use Wi-Fi networks in the U.S. It analyzed bandwidth usage and operating system popularity between 2010 and 2011 to reveal the huge gap between the Wi-Fi data usage of iPads and other mobile devices.

Sony Playstation app for iOS4 devices coming soon.

Sony, makers of gaming console Playstation, is going to launch free iPhone and Android apps for Playstation likely to be at early 2011.

According to the Australian expert, People who use display iPads and iPhones at Apple stores are likely to get serious infections and the company should do more to maintain hygiene.

Peter Collignon, a specialist in infectious diseases at the Australian National University, followed research that found a higher risk of transmitting pathogens from glass surfaces like on iPads to human skin.

"You wouldn't have hundreds of people using the same glass or cup, but theoretically if hundreds of people share the same keyboard or touch pad, then effectively that's what you're doing," the Age quoted Collignon as saying in a phone interview.
