Two weeks from now, Apple watch will be available for public (mostly US). With the starting price of $349 for the base model to the $999 for Stainless Steel, it will be interesting to watch out for public response for its sales.

Chinese writers sue Apple Inc for $ 1.88 Million.


Apple is now dragged into court, not for patent fights, and not even by Samsung, but by a group of Chinese writes, who accuses them of stealing their work and making money out of it.

A case is filed against Apple by well know Chinese writers in Beijing over unofficial copies of their works uploaded to Apple’s store. It’s a $ 1.88m (11.91 million yuan) lawsuit.

Apple's App store acheives 15 billion downloads mark with in just three years.

According to Apple, iPhone, iPad and iPod users had downloaded more than 15 billion applications in the past three years, and the released stats suggest the rate of downloads is sharply accelerating.

The latest figures from Apple show that customers have downloaded around 5 billion apps so far this year, considering the company said in January that it had just passed the 10 billion download mark.

According to Meraki, a cloud service provider, Apple’s iPad accounts for an explosive increase in percentage of the browser market. According to their new report, iPad users consumes 400% more Wi-Fi data on a monthly basis than the average iPhone, iPod or Android portable device.

This report prepared by Meraki, took account of data collected from the anonymously surveyed 100,000+ devices accessing public, educational and general use Wi-Fi networks in the U.S. It analyzed bandwidth usage and operating system popularity between 2010 and 2011 to reveal the huge gap between the Wi-Fi data usage of iPads and other mobile devices.
