It's Apple Style

Soon an iPhone app that lets air passengers track their movement as they fly over US, without any GSM/GPS or network connection and lets you know about the points of interest in your route, acting as portable mobile guide.

Though in some cases it doesn't have accuracy since, GPS is not used and the app works as when you enter the depature, arrival time and your route manually.

The app with its own database of flight routes in the continental United States tells you the estimated arrival time, as well as showing your plane in its built-in map and give you information about the points of interest near you.
