Hahaha............. its good news for the apple users and bad news for the apple inc., the most awaited jailbreak for the apple iOS V4.1 can now be done by limera1n which is still in beta stage so not that exiting news...limera1n took almost half a year(6 months) in the making. The Coders like to get the help of yours, so if you like your apple product to be jailbroken succesfully then donations are appreciated.
By the way limera1n can jailbreak iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3G, iPad, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G V4.0-4.1 and beyond. It also claims to support Apple T.V but there is no apps yet. At present its is only available for Windows users. Mac and Linux users have to wait for some more time.
Since it is in Beta stage, here are some of the bugs noticed by the developer :
- 3GS new boot rom is broken, fix pending
- some people need to restart to get the Cydia icon to show up after installing
- some people still don't have windows
- beta iOS versions aren't supported
- uninstall in limera1n app doesn't work, you can just delete the blackra1n.app directory
